Description
A jejunal feeding tube (J-tube) is a medical device used to deliver nutrition directly into the jejunum, the middle section of the small intestine. It's often used when individuals cannot swallow safely or have difficulty absorbing nutrients from the stomach. J-tubes can be placed either through the nose (nasojejunal) or directly into the jejunum through the skin (jejunostomy).
